new here

hey all, i'm new here, but not new to party city. the first time i worked at one was during halloween. they needed the help, so i applied and was hired shortly after. yes, halloweens are hell at party city, i learned this. the store keeps a few of the new halloween employees after the holiday is over, so once halloween is finished, i decide i can call out for a night of catching up with homework and rest. (i am in our school's chorus class and we do shows that contain not only singing, but dancing. i had not done any homework in days due to chorus rehearsal and then going straight to work after.) anyway, they let me go, even though i called out AFTER halloween season was over. so yeah. then about a month ago, i applied to party city in a different location. i really liked it at the other store and knew how things worked, so i figured, what the hell. i got called back for an interview the same day i turned in my application. and i'm still there. it's been a little over a month. the customers are hilarious. i've had 3 people cuss me out so far over balloons. did anyone else get blisters on their fingers from balloons when they first started? i know i did.
